So when I first got my car back from scott performance nearly 3 months ago, i noticed a huge difference in power. it felt faster, more responsive and torquey all around. (Scott performance custom grind cams with 7500 Redline). Well ted told me to shorten my injen CAI to let the car breath more and get a few more horses. I turned the injen into a short ram and noticed a slight decrease in horspower. i talked to ted about it and he told me to put 100 octane and put the intake back on. So i did. my car never felt the same again. just to make sure, i raced my cousin with a g35- intake, plenum, test pipes and exhaust. I can't believe that i was side by side with him the entire time up until 120 where i pulled 1/2 a car!!!!
what the hell is that about?! do any of you guys know what i should do about this? i recently switched to a jwt popcharger since then and was wondering if you guys think i would need a tune. what do you think the problem is?

no a/f's from the dyno and nope, my cousins's g35 is an 04' non-rev-up. can you guys guess some of the problems? can it be corrected or will i never have the power that i used to?
