Thumbs up Check this,..not Eibachs' but....

Well...I posted that I ordered these Springs off EBAY called "ST Lowering Springs"

and they came today...and what do ya know,.. look what they are!!!!

they are pretty big too..

damn can't wait to put em on!!!Wheels will be here Thursday2/27

1.8" drop!!! Some say thats too much--but I'm sorry--Eibach's claimed 0.8frt and 1.5 Rear isn't gonna show much!

So IU took a $212 chance on these and what do ya know,..they Are Sprints!Hell yeah!

Ive had sprints on a car before and was pretty pleased with them for the price, the spring rate wasnt very stiff, that may be good or bad depending on what your going for. Ive seen that auction too, the pic looked like sprints but the were calling them suspension tech, they would probably sell mor eif they called them what they were

Constant Rate springs aren't going to help your performance any.

I think you mean "linear rate" springs, and how do you feel they will not improve performance? You do know that the whole idea behind progressive rate springs is a compromise to give a softer initial rate for easy around town driving than to get "progressivly" stiffer as they are compressed, linear rate springs just do away with the softer initial rate, they are a bit harder to live with on day to day easy driving, but have the advantage of being thier ideal rate at all times.

Okay, way back in the day a GF of mine had Sprints on her car. They sucked horribly.

I hope you have better luck with yours.

Well,..on my Old 00' GSR--the coilovers I owned(first set ever)we're Aerospeed--gay little rice company(i.e APC) but this was in 99 and I didn't really know any better(didn't care either as long as it was adjustable lowering springs)--well,.they we're the ****!

Firm but forgiving!I loved em,.everyone that rode in my car and then rode in another person's(lowered) car said mine was awesome,..and I also had damn 18" Axis whels w/ 215/35 series and they we're like Rubber Bands!
Rode great!!

thast why I'm not so scared to take a chance w/ these--
Don't plan on Track or Auto-X so it don't matter,..all I have to focus on is camber if theres a bad probelm which may ormaynot happen--All other cars I've oned have been lowered waaayyy lower then 1.8 inch's...and they we're fine,..no tire wear @ all!! Espically w/ my RSX-S

I'm not sweatin it! Just starting to Sweat the Delivery dates on my stuff I'm waiting for to complete my beloved Z!

Thanx Guys!

Looks like they sent you the wrong springs. I personally would have liked to get the ST (Suspension Techniques) springs instead of the Sprints. But thats my opinion. Hope you like them.

The thing is they werent even advertised as Suspension technique, they were called suspension tech, being specific not to ad them as real STs

whats crazy is that I've never even heard of Sprint making Springs for the 350--I knew H&R was coming out and Eibach's(all over $200)...but either way...I got em and I'll see how they do!

how do you plan on dealing with negative 4 degrees of camber once you lower it?

Exaaaaaaactly. I love hte idea of dropping 1.5" for 115 bux. Just keep in mind you will blow 900$ in tires unless you spend ANOTHER 1GRAND in camber adjustment.

Why OH Why is it soooooo expensive to fix camber in this car. I plan on creating a camber kit with my buddy, but its still not as cheap as it would be for ANY other car.
