nissans grounding kit
In that overly long grounding thread I noticed Nissan has thier own kit. I'd like to find some information on this specific kit from Nissan. I've done sone searching myself with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

the nissan grouding kit runs for $200 the last time i checked. If your gonna get one... get insaneamine's kit. the cost is about $75 + shipping. I just bought one 2 weeks ago from him and finally installed it last nite.
The Insaneamine Grounding Kit for the 350Z is THE BEST kit you can buy. It's $75 plus shipping. It comes in many colors and he ships fast.

Im not sure what materials insanamine uses. but I can tell you monster cable is the highest quality wire you will find, and it is 2$ a foot for 4gauge wire. and I can also say that you can get HUGE gold plated connecter ends for 4$ a pair, these are also monster cable and are THE BEST end that money can buy. do the math, 13 feet of wire, 5pairs of ends. thats 26+20=46$ for the best stuff possible. of course you need a pretty mammoth crimper for 4gauge wire, or a small blow torch if you actually think you can solder 4gauge wire. this is where cost come into it that is not worth while if you dont already own the tools.
anyway, just trying to demonstrate that there is nothing in this set that warrents a 200$ price tag. there is nothing that they are giving you that could possibly surpass the quality that you can get from parts available at hifibuys for under 50$.

I'm not really interested in Nissans kit. I was looking for a link to Nissan because I wanted to see how they were marking it....i.e."buy this kit because we didnt ground our car right"...was interested in the marketing angle behind it.
I have the Nissan grounding kit. Yup, I paid a pretty penny for it. It's probably not worth it to go this route, I'd get a third party one instead, I think it'll do exactly the same thing.
As for the marketing, they really don't. It's basically, here it is, buy it if you want.
