Default 03-05 v 06 (350 clutch)

Well I took an 06 out for a test drive the other day and I immediately noticed that the clutch pedal was a lot softer than my previous 04. (the 04 had a more agressive feel) Is there any reasoning behind this, or what??? I kinda of missed that smash the clutch feel you got from the previous Z. Is there any way to get that ol' stiff feeling back?

The clutch pedal on the 06' finishes really high. There is an adjustment on to allow you to lower it. Makes the car 100 times better to drive. I have mine adjusted to be about an inch higher than my brake pedal and it's like driving a different car from the stock setting. Best mod I've done and it doesn't cost a cent. Loosen the jam nut, turn the shaft ~1.5 turns and tighten the jam nut.

clutch pedal is different...

but also mainly, the pressure plate spring is different...

on the Left is the 05+ pressure plate

they have similar clamping force...
