Clutch choices
I'm thinking about getting a new clutch for my 350z with 26000 miles on the clock. I've been doing some research and narrowed down to two clutch i might consider. The first is clutch master stage 1 or 2, and ACT SS. Which one of these two clutches you would recommend in terms of streetability, smooth engagement, and power holding capability? I also might purchase a Flywheel combo if everything falls into place. thanks..

We sell all of those and more...
Most popular set up on the 350Z on here is the JWT Flywheel with JWT Clutch...
You can also use the NISMO Clutch which has a little less clamping force but is more expensive... But has a solid hub clutch disc which makes for a more aggressive engaugement... but not very noticable...
JWT Flywheel is 14lbs...
NISMO Flywheel is 23lbs...
Stock is like 32 and dual mass...
Since the aftermarket flywheels are single piece, they will expose the flywheel chatter that the dual mass flywheel absorbs...

Can't wait to change out my Tilton.
ACT + Their Pro Light flywheel is an awesome setup
or, we have a new flywheel we're offering now that is the same as several popular units on the market (same foundry makes them) but alot less costly

+1 on the all ACT setup. I have the ACT Street disc with Stage 1 pressure plate. I also have a JWT flywheel but deeply regret not waiting for the ACT Prolite flywheel to be in stock. Its the best flywheel and clutch setup (all ACT setup) I've driven on to date.

we just sold out of clutches, but more are arriving shortly (hopefully end of this week)
But, when they do come back in, we're doing a special with the clutch/flywheel and we'll include our stainless steel clutch line for free!!

which flywheel is the way to go? streetlite or prolite? Is their a noise difference? is the prolite too light for daily street driving? any drwbacks to going prolite over streetlite?
