My God there are some gullible people out there. That's not meant in a bad way, we're all different, I just wouldn't want to be like them. This has been the most entertaining thread I have read on any auto forum, although it is short on substance.

Just wondering... how about Tommy Kaira ITBs since we're on the subject of N/A builds.

Anyone know much about the race-spec crate motor? I remember watching a vid of a Nismo Z with a 444ps N/A motor. Gosh, that thing sounded like a weed wacker.

I've known this guy for years. He doesn't have a camera or a scanner, so he may not be able to post stuff, but I'd believe him. Lol, look at his sig! Isn't that enough? Have patience, I'm sorry he's out tuning it right now.

Default bad day at the track

Well, my day started off like crap and I felt like that as well. So decided to go to Byron and do some runs anyway. However I just drove the car there and did not put my slicks on I ran on my regular street tires. Anyway car ran like crap above 6500rpm in any gear over 3rd. The fuel pressure would drop to between 22 and 25psi once I shifted to 3rd gear and then would flatten out and bog the rest of the way. So I only ran it 2 times without the nitrous just N/A. I plan on seeing if I can get it fixed and run again tuesday or weds next week. here are the 2 time slips from today, I think the fuel pump is failing or something like that for the pressure to drop so much. Oh ya and I need my slicks, I got like 0 traction through 1st and 2nd.


Sorry the picture is so crappy the runs were:

these were all n/a runs on street tires and running like total crap. With the trap speed I know it is making power. Get it running right and slicks and easily low low 12's I think.

if you are trapping 114 NA well you could run high 11s if you got traction, bring the slicks, make some good runs and show us some videos!!

Ya, that was trapping 114 n/a. I gotta figure it out and get it running right tomorrow. I think it is the fuel pump that is causingthe pressure drop.

i will bring the slick next week, just lazy today. Sorry about the camera it is very old. I AM NOT MUCH OF A PICTURE PERSON. i will look to buy a camera soon I guess, just I rarely use and never really have the need for.


Once I get it sorted out, I will bring the slick and hit it with some nitrous. You really think that trapping 114 N/A with slicks and a good 1.5-1.6 60'foot time 11 are possible?

Like I said, I am not much of a picture person. I get ina mind set and I get things done. I do not stop to take pictures of everything while I work. I will post more pictures and info shortly though. There are a couple of guys on here that doubt me and thats fine becasue I know what I have. Today i have a car that ran like crap up top and still trapped 114 N/A and I posted the time slips to prove it. I will have more to post shortly when I down load it on my computer. Figured as long as i had the slip I would take a picture with my dated camera and at least post that. Those couple of people can continue to rag on me and call me b.s and thats fine those I speak with on a regular basis now what I am about and how I do things. But the time slips don't lie, yup it ran real slow but with a trap of 114 n/a it has alot of potential once get running right and traction. Then throw the juice to it and see what happens.

What about some pictures of the engine. it only takes 2 mins to take some, you could have easily ran that with your lightning, or your SER.

From here on out I will not be posting on here and only to those that are poeple whom I normally speak with. If you have any questions feel free to pm me but i will not deal with those 2 guys. they need to get a life and relax abit. Guys like those are what ruin a nice place like this.
