Then you are no better the the thread starter. Let's see a track or dyno vid.

Stupid Question of the Day:
Do you guys think the fuel economy on an N/A setup like that is worst than a turbo setup considering the car is a daily driver?

so he wasn't just being sacarstic before??? Thought he was joking??

It really took me 8 weeks+ to build my engine though and plenty of photos... before and after... when I needed to get the engine bored & honed out, balance the entire engine from pistons to the crank at the machine shop... etc, that shop took away 2 weeks+, then also the valve jobs too, they gotta measure and remeasure again to be very sure things would go together without any problem...

The tuning was gonna be the hardest if you didn't have anything done to the engine from the beginning... luckily I had the frst rebuild done like 1 year ago, so the MoTeC map was pretty much reuseable from there (only needed to tune for higher compression and other easy things), else it would have taken longer than 8 weeks...

And with my 2nd engine rebuild, I sourced all the parts before hand before we started the job... the only wait was when we bent the exhaust valves during the dyno tuning, we needed to wait for the Ferrea valvetrain set from the States.. took about 2 weeks due to the X'mas holidays (although they had that in stock)... so a 4 day engine building was considered a mission impossible though IMO... but if we are talking about 4 days straight without any waiting time on the parts and the block is honed and bored already... it might be possible IMO if you have got yourself a fantastic tuner who understands VQ35 well

I am also waiting for the anyone's photos and the vid on the 9000rpm build up... it will definitely sound different...

cheers,

richie

Can't - I've been through this before...and so have some of you with me.

The products and their results cannot be posted as a new line of products will result from them - so I can't show you the info...sorry. It's all part of the agreement...and technically I've already said more than I should.

All I can give you is the my current dyno - but as FI it doesn't matter per this thread - but if you want it...no problem.

All I can ask is that you trust me - and as a Sponsor with a solid track record on this and the G35Driver site, hope that you wont flame me for it. It is what it is all - I wish I could tell/show you. You'll see in about a year though, when the kits become available.

Correct - that was when Kit #2 was on my car...the full race KIT #3 was the fastest out of all of them.

Closed. When someone has a track vid, dyno sheet or even a timeslip they can start a new thread.
