Question New tranny.... Bogging?!?!

I just had Nissan install a new tranny for my Z under warranty. I get my Z back today and there is no more grinding which I'm happy about. Then I realize that when I take off in 1st gear it feels as if the car is about to die? I rev to about 2,000 rpm's and it still does it slightly, but any lower and it seems as if it will stall?

The best way I can describe it is the back tires feel like there coming off ( No, nothing is wrong with the tires. )

I'm starting to get mad because I took the Z to them last week on thursday and they had my Z for acouple of days and it just sat there for the tranny to arrive. Then they call me and say they won't be able to put the tranny in before the weekend so I could just pick my car up for the weekend and return it to them on this past tuesday and get it installed. Then I get it back today and have this problem.

Oh and the inside of my Z stunk with gas??? They they say the smell of gas is coming from something and its normal for alittle bit and not to worry? Any one get a new tranny and have this problem? I'm taking my Z back tomorrow to have a someone test drive it to see what the problem is. Souldn't they have done that after the install?

Any help will be great, thanks.

TSB service for rear axle clicking (that means they didn't cause the problem). I had it too on my 05.

Sounds kind of like you're imagining things. Maybe your tranny needs some time to break in? Or maybe they put the wrong fluid in.

I know the post you made was a month ago. I just wanted to let you know it's still going on, so it has it's share of "Breaking in." Not as severely but it still bogs and even my friend today who hasn't been in the car since the install said, " What the hell is that? It sounds like you're car is screwed up?"

It was definitely the dealer who cause it. When I got it back and first took off You would have thought there was an earth quake going on! It was that bad.

Take my word for it, It was the dealer who did something wrong. So if you could tell me the things that I should check that could be causing this I would possibly resolve this, thanks.

P.S. My kitten just took the most discusting sounding **** I have ever heard from a cat!

I had about 40k miles on my car when they did the tranny replacement so it would have to be the 50 month 60k warranty.
