Default Brake Pads for Stock (non-Track) 350Z

At 4300 miles the stock brake pads on our Touring are getting thin and I would like recommandations for replacement. I will not be changing the rotors or calipers.

What do you recommend for "high performance street pads" for the front and rear? This means street use and occasional track day use. Why do you recommend these pads? Do you use them? How much do they cost?

What do you recommend for "track only" pads for the front and rear? This means that I install these pads out when I do track days. Why do you recommend them? Do you use them? How much do they cost?

Thanks for the help.

At the moment, there are only two options.... You can either go with Stock, or upgraded pads.... Axxis makes ultimates, and metal master fronts for the 350Z.. no rears yet.. but i'm pretty sure your rears still have 80% left on them. Ultimate are the best all around performance brake pad you can buy for the Stock System, but they are dusty. Metal Masters are a set higher then Stock, and are less dusty then stock, or ultimate pads... StopTech uses the Ultimate pads on all their big brakes kits, basically because they are the best pads you can buy for the street. If you're looking to go to the track, i would look into Hawk Blues, but those are not recommened for street use...

We have Ultimates at $72, and Metal Masters at $55.

If you need anything, send me at e-mail at Coz@Czp
