That looks pretty sweet - I'd definitely be interested in it for the Sony SL-10 when it comes out. Only problem though - it seems KINDA expensive for what it is. I mean, I'm sure they put in a ton of production time in to it - but I'm sure if they made it a little lower priced they'd get a lot more business (like $200 range). I bet they'd make more money if they made it vehicle specific and sold them for less.
Someone get this! Let us know how it is!

Bluetooth?
This has me looking at PDA's now, also want to do GPS. The new Palm Tungsten T has built in bluetooth wireless, and there are bluetooth GPS receivers, so I can get GPS data without physically connecting the PDA to anything.
PDA and BT is all new to me, but Ive been doing wireless for a long time.
I would think there should be some bluetooth hub/server that accepts multiple Palm hardware products, and makes them available via bluetooth. Instead of plugging things into the palm, which is limited, plug them into the bluetooth hub, and have access to all of them, and wirless as well. It would make a very clean install to be able to plug the Dyno into the hub.
Does this exist yet, or will it ever?

did a little more research. yes, the nissan line of vehicles are compatible with the On-Board Diagnostics Version 2 specifications. they conform to the ISO standard.
I also found a very inexpensive setup:

not nearly as slick, but not nearly as expensive.

This seems to be the same setup, minus all the performance data/graphs, which is really what I like. This one is $220, compared to $340.

I just emailed the 1st company. I would be interested if it could work with my IPAQ Pocket PC. I think the palm OS is outdated.
Anyone know if there is one out for the Pocket PC platform?
