aftermarket LSD on Base model
I have a 2004 Base, and she has the Cusco RS 1.5 at 100% lock.
If the Quaife was available when I had bought mine I would have bought the Quaife since it was designed for the Base axle stubs and all in all would have been the cheaper buy.
Though it was just coming out and I already bought the Cusco, got what I needed or thought I did (there was a mistake though Sharif@Forged saved the day
)...
Anywho I am familiar with Quaife's from Honda's/Acura's/SRT-4's, so I know it is good stuff.
Though I like my Cusco too, I have not heard of any noise from it... Though since it is at 100% the tires kick at low speeds and while turning.

What if I just want the stock VLSD in my 06' base model M/T. Yeah, I realize that I should have just gotten a Enthusiast model, but I'll be the first one to say I made a bad decision. Oh well. Will all VLSD from any model fit into mine? and I don't understand the 3.5-3.9.

Great tires??
The only thing I can think of is to find a median in the Z's suspension setup where it is neutral in corner entry.
After coilovers and camber-alignment my car oversteers a bit, but it takes a bit of effort to get the tail to purposely swing out due to the beefier tires out back. If i could dial a more neutral setup with some sways it'd be perfect. This is without an LSD of course...i figure if I ever get real serious, a clutch-type is in order.

If it was a daily driver, I guess I'd been more concerned with comfort features, but in the end, the weight of the car is too important when racing other cars, Z's especially!
Oh, and the fact that the original owner upgraded to leather seats was a definite +!
With all that being said, I'm saving for the quaife.
