Honestly, he didn't flamed that hard. Just weed through some of the B.S. replies and you'll get some good info off this board.

97supratt - i didnt blame the dealer for brakes and tires. Those are normal wear items wich have no effect on the engine. Check it again. My engine will be fixed by nissan even if i have to take this to court and will take it to court.

Brakes turning blue is no big deal. Mine turned blue when I bedded the stoptech stage 2 kit in for the first time. It's completely normal, just resins outgassing from the brake pad and then sticking to the rotor.

Tire feathering is a result of poor alignment. Unless you are drifting there is no way that "hard cornering" will cause it.

It just sounded like you were blaming them. Your engine should be taken care of under warranty. The magnusson law states that the dealer has to prove the malfunction was caused by the "modified" item. It's quite obvious they can't prove an exhaust caused your engine malfuntion. Good luck

Like many people before him, and like many people after he's gone, they come here just to tell us that our forums suck and then they leave.

Happens all the time.

I like to look at other boards to just see what happens to other cars! Its what a car enthusiast would do! I am not biased to any certain manufactuer i just call them how i see them! From what i have seen there are boards like this one which is full of noobs and a few bright ones. show me a thread with some actual intelligent comments. its sad that you hate on a fellow board member that actually has a 350z!

Sorry I'm not going to do the searching for you.

If you don't think there's any intelligent comments posted on these forums I suggest you either search for them, or leave.

Never have I met anyone who judged an entire forum, as a whole, based on about 2 posts in a single thread.

Just because somebody drives the same vehicles as me doesn't mean I am going to make them homemade fudge brownies and deliver them to their home.

Go home scooby doo, WE DONT WANT TO SEE YOU!!!

Internal engine failures on a stock 350Z are uncommon. I believe that Nissan will give you a new motor.

yes they should give him a new engine! I hope that they dont try to tell him that since the seat position was all the way back it voids his powertrain warranty LOL. He prolly should have taken it to midland.

Obviously because of your flaming. One thing that really got my attention is that q45tech said is that if he kept the oil full LOL what a moron! EVEN if the oil was a quart low do you think that could cuase a piston to just shatter? If so nissan needs to stop building this sports car RIGHT NOW. Rocks can drive just fine, hell I have a 2002 wrx that I beat the living **** out of and it was modified pretty heavy. Not one engine problem AT ALL!! infact I pulled the motor (YES I DID IT MYSELF TO ALL YOU IDIOTS THAT WANT YOUR WORK DONE BY A SHOP) and did a compression test and pulled 150psi cold across all four cyclinders. Subaru doesnt have this problem. Blueing in the rotors hrmmm lets see he went to wyoming which is full of mountains, tell me that downhill braking doesnt heat up rotors and i will slap the **** out of you! We also test drove a new 350z before he bought this one and guess what slipping clutch! clutches in the 350z's ARE WEAK! To all you factory freaks I guess you have to face the facts and accept you are stupid read the post before you falme morons! WORST BOARD I HAVE EVER STUMBLED UPON!!!!!

i am indifferent to his situation, i feel bad for him, i dont know you or rocks. what i feel angry towards is those like you who find a few negatives posts, them go back to "your board" and say we ALL are that way, which is complete BS. i guess its all beautiful and everybody gets along and agrees on your board, right?

guess what noob, you're not welcome here!

350z's have weak clutches? oh right, what's tougher, the EVO?

I have 56k miles on my stock clutch, and the last 14k miles have been at 400whp. Show me a stock car with a stock clutch that can last 56k miles, 44 at 250whp and 14k at 400whp, without slipping?

secondly, you're a newbie, you don't know shat and it shows. I beat the hell out of my Z and I haven't blown/shattered a piston. Pistons in the Z are fairly strong. Rocks must've done something remarkably stupid or had incredibly bad luck, but I think it's the former. If there was something so wrong with the piston from factory, it wouldn't have lasted 6k miles.

So, go kill yourself with some rope and a spoon, and stfu, noob.
