secondly, you're a newbie, you don't know shat and it shows. I beat the hell out of my Z and I haven't blown/shattered a piston. Pistons in the Z are fairly strong. Rocks must've done something remarkably stupid or had incredibly bad luck, but I think it's the former. If there was something so wrong with the piston from factory, it wouldn't have lasted 6k miles.

So, go kill yourself with some rope and a spoon, and stfu, noob.
Wow that was wicked, +1 I agree with everything he just said.

I used to be much better, but since I've not been a teenager for some time, the angst is long gone

When the first sentence in your FIRST post on this forum states "OMFG you people are just pussies!" other members are probably not going to reply by saying "thank you may I have another".

That being said having a piston shatter on a NA VQ engine is quite an anomaly. I would have busted out laughing if they said my aftermarket exhaust caused this problem. If I were you I'd upgrade the clutch while it's convenient. You shouldn't need a lawyer for any of this, but as the previous poster said def. get it in writing.

If your getting that much flack from the dealer already, just imagine what it will be like if something is not right after they finish working on it. I would go to another dealership if that is an option.

My 06 clutch has stuck to the floor twice now. I heard the 06 clutch was softer than previuos years and as far as that piston goes it doesn't matter how many miles you have on it. Some people only got 3000 miles on the bad transmitions and some people got 11000 plus miles, make them get it right no matter what it takes.
