None of those will hurt your reliability if installed properly.

By the way there is no "chip" for the Z that is legit. You need aftermarket piggyback ECU, or stock ECU reflash...

Well the technosquare reflash raises your rev limiter. Which might affect reliability if you don't drive the car properly.

Once you get the reflash, try to avoid bouncing off the higher rev limiter. Since power will fall off quickly after stock redline, there's no reason to take it all the way to the new rev limit.

Emanage you can tailor to whatever you want (except changing the rev limiter) and make changes at any time. Reflash is limited to whatever they prog at the time and if you want anything changed in the future, you'll have to have it flashed again.

Wondering how you choose TS? It seems like AAM has done so many 350z/G35's that they'd be the best at it...I haven't read too many posts of ppl getting it done at TS--not sure if this is b/c I haven't read/researched enough or if AAM has just done a lot more cars.

TS was doing reflashes a year or two before AAM was...

that said, I'd rather go thru AAM

I had no idea (I bought my car in '05)...just from looking at their websites, I'd go with AAM.

IMO, they are both on the same level. I have heard both good and bad about each of their flashes. That being said, most people in CA tend to go to TS since they are local.

So, for NA purposes, would the emanage benefit me about the same as the utec?

And from what I've read its pretty user friendly. So with a laptop and some research should I be able to tune it myself?

Unless you are super familiar with tuning vehicles, I would not mess with it. If you are thinking of the UTEC, try Forged or someone in your area with expertise.

yeah sharif told me that for 400 he would tune mine and it usually nets an average of 13 hp for na cars. do you guys think If I plan on leaving my mods the same that the reflash would do just as good? if not what do you think it would get me?

A reflash is not car specific. It will give you a generic map. If you want it done right, take it to Sharif.

Do you want a guarantee that a modified 350Z is as reliable as one that is stock? Sorry but no one can give you that guarantee.

Technosqure was the company who developed the flash, AAM bought the software from them, so if there is a better shop its TS!
So as far as recommending AAM you clearly dont know what you are talking about, besides do a search and see the level of thier quality and all the people they screwed over, unless you know what your talking about (and you clearly dont!) Dont give advice to other people! There is too much misinformation already!

The only place that should do your tune is somewhere who can strap the car to the dyno and tune for your specific car. TS and AAM can give you a generic tune if you are not close to either of them, but this is really not the best way to go.

so would you say that ts and aam are equal if they have your car straped into a dyno?
