Default Burning Smell

I have a 2003 Z and lately I have been smelling a burning rubber smell. The tires seem fine so I think it may be a belt. I got the smell as I was shifting and drove it a bit hard and took it back to the house and left the hood open all night and let the smell get out of the engine and then I drove with the A/C off and I didn’t get the same smell. Then on the way to work today, I got the same smell with the A/C off...Can anybody help? I plan on taking the car to the dealer tomorrow, I still have 5-60K warranty. Any thoughts would be welcome!

Their could be so many reasons for the smell happening. Try looking under the car for any plastic bag that got melted from ur exhaust. Good luck with this problem.
