Question 06 noise when accelerating

hey guys i have a 06 350z with 7,xxx miles on it. Recently my car started to make i guess a rattling noise when im accelerating between 2,500-3,000 rpm and right when i shift. its most audible in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and somewhat audible in 4th. Its really noticeable when i drive for the first 10 minutes, and then isnt as loud after. It seems like its coming from the front, maybe tranny? im not sure, if you guys have any ideas i would really appreciate it. thanks

Check your oil.
I know that sounds dumb but my car did the same thing right before I figured out it was consuming oil. When I was about 2.5 quarts low the engine would chatter when cold(first 5-10 min). Almost sounded like a clutch chatter but it would happen with clutch engaged or disengaged. Finally figured out the oil was so low that it was causing engine chatter.

my 06 did that too and it was consuming oil. now they are replacing the whole Effin engine, it only has 10k miles on it. at least its under warranty still.

What octane gas are you using, we've seen a handful of 06's that are pinging between 2-3K rpm.

i always use premium 91 octane at chevron, can you tell me what a gas ping sounds like?. im going to see if its the oil. give it an oil change see if that helps. i noticed the oil pressure levels are lower than usual so that could be it and i am due for one. thanks for the input guys

If anyone here is local (in the MD, PA, DC, VA) area and has this problem on their 05' or 06' rev-up, let me know.
