Default Anyone running JWT cams with revup heads?

If you are im having the S7 cams put in my revup engine(.450" lift). What power gains have you seen from these cams, crank and wheel hp? input would be great. I will dyno with them when the engine is broke in.

you are doing pretty much the same thing i am doing. I am installing nismo r-tune cams(intake only) in my rev-up. I don't think anyone has attempted this yet except for one guy on here, but i do not know what his results where. The nismo race team was said to have done this and claimed decent results (again don't have any actual #'s). I already have the cams so mine will be going in during christmas break since i am busy with school right now

Not quite. He's installing cams that were designed with the Rev-up motor in mind so he'll be using both intake and exhaust cams.

Yea its both intake and exhaust cams. Should be some decent gains i hope. Since im dropping compression a little, i plan to run more timing to get some power back hopefully i can get about 10 degrees more of advance in with the lower compression.

I think the JWT Revup cams are 272 degree cams. I'm guessing it'll add quite a bit of power up top.

The 2 rev ups I know running the JWT cams are not on the forums. Both are JWT TT G35s.

I would love to see the gains on a N/A motor.

The Rev-Up JWT cams are a 262 duration, with .450 lift. We just shipped a set out today.
I havent tried them yet.

The JWT C8 cams for the rev-up are 272's with .474" lift. I don't know if they've been released yet though.

According to JWT today, they only have one grind, but I believe they are working on a more aggresive grind for later release.

Hmmm my bad. I haven't been on here in a while and wasn't even aware JWT had released the Rev-up cams.

May just have to shell out the extra dough for those

I've had it in my longblock for 2 months now...but have yet to start her up. But results will be skewed...since my TT kit is being put on at the same time, and my heads have been reworked.

Correct me if I am wrong, but these JWT cams are engineered for TT setups, not N/A.

Even if they are for TT setups they still have more lift and duration, and anyway less overlap is always good. The lopey idle you hear from muscle cars is due to lots of overlap. I dont think the C8 cams are in production yet.

Hey Sharif what have your customers said about the REVUP cams?
