Default Which Short Shifter is the Best?

I am getting ready to buy an short shifter. I am looking at the rouge engenering short shifter but its throw reducion is only 20%.

I remember feeling a friends and he had the B&M but I also know that they rattle alot. The rouge on my other friends car doesnt. I dont remember how the throw felt on that one but the B&M was really short.

I liked it but I dont like the noise. Any advice?

From previous threads everyone states not worth it. They all seem to say "stay stock".

well it helps your shifting speed but without having to power shift so much... helpsa lil to ease up on the shifting... you jstu gotta get used to it which is why a lot of people dont like it.... and btw i have had B&M for a while and i have no rattling....
2 tips for this... use aftermarket shiftknob, do not bolt up the rubber boot on the actuall shifter..

How short do you need it? The stock one is about the shortest I have ever seen in any car.

I'm hoping to try a C's one out in the next month or 2. So far every aftermarket one I tried has left a lot to be desired

I modified a B&M shifter to lower the throw, with the stock lever.

Cost to me zero dollars

no need... seriously, and it won't really help you shift faster

I have the Rogue Shifter (the revised version) & love how it shifts. I've had it for over a year now with no rattles at all.

you are an idiota!!!

hahaha Joking man... i THink for the Z the short shifter is more of a matter of taste. I have had lots of people that have sit on my car complement me on the short shifter actually... but many poeple i have chatted online hate itprobalby cuase they are used to the stock shifting, which for some probably took a while to learn and now its time to learn it back... And besides the shorter throw you wont see it being super low and ugly or anything.

Does it look like its shorter there? btw i have the B&M shifter btw
In any case I can shift just as fast as with the stock shifter without having to use any "KUNFU" style of shifting which should be good on the ear an tear fo the shifter and on the clutch too....
