Not if you're not doing the work and a nationally reputable shop is doing the work w/ lots of r & d and one off pieces. And you're doing suspension, and you're doing paint and body, and you're doing stereo, and a custom cage, and... I forget anything?? Nevertheless, I too will be impressed if this car ever completes.

Suspension, paint and body, and a stereo don't make horsepower. OP said "120,000$ buys you some nice performance parts". Let me add on to the BS flag: If this is your first posts on the forum and can't figure out which end of 120,000 the $ sign goes on, chances are you don't have $120k to spend.

HaHa come on man. At least say something reasonable like $50,000 buys you alot of performance parts. lol I will be the first one to tell you dont post on this forum unless your reputable for what you say already on here or you have proof and can post some pics up. Do you even have a Z yet? Or is that included in your 120k? Dont get me wrong i hope you do make that much power. But if its taking you 120K to get to that point than there is something wrong and someone is profiting big time.

EXACTLY. For $120K I will buy you a new vehicle, it will run 10's all day, have a top speed of 200mph+, and have the dealer warranty mostly intact. I will keep at least $20K for steering you right, and btw, it will have a bowtie on the hood.

120k is a nice down payment on a house. I would get a house before I sink it into a car. This tread is worthless. Can't believe I even read it this far.

I'd like to see the 1000hp. With all the builds that have been done the highest hp VQ35 are only brushing 700whp other than Performance Motorsports which is a radically modded VQ anyways. People talk so much chit! You need to walk before you can run. We're still walking with the VQ35 and haven't even begun to sprint.

In order to reach these levels there is going to be a ton of uncharted territory (not saying it hasn't been done because as mentioned before PM has obviously) that you will have to walk through. Especially to do it without radical modifications such as that found on the PM car.
