Every time i hit a bump on the highway my car loses power and jurks then comes back to normal in a split second. The rpms drop a lot.
If i go over railway track it almost dies and stalls out some times.
The slip light and the traction light come on at that time.
There is a check engine light on but when i restart the car the slip and the trackion light go away.
Does any body know what would cause this?

those are the two things that come to my mind as well... brakes / tire's...
what tire sizes are you running on the front / rear...
check your brake fluid level...
thinkess on brake pads...

The traction and slip light are probibly comin on b/c the traction control module mistakes a bump for wheel spin, turns on the lights. If you've got
bigger aftermaket wheels they could be contributing to the problem.
You should get that check engine light checked out, it may be an easy answer to the car dying. If I had to guess I'd say the dying problem maybe a loose intake tube or bad mass air flow sensor. Seen that happen on other models.

Sounds like typical TCS / VDC kicking in, which cuts fuel and slows you down.
If you're accelerating and a rear wheel slips, it will trigger the system and behave as you have described.
Many drivers turn off TCS/VDC regularly. I turn it off when the pavement is dry but not while it's raining.
