OE LSD oil additive?
I have an '05 enthusaist (comes with OE LSD) and I'm wondering if there's any kind of additive for the oil that will make it work bettter (tolerate a larger difference in torque between Left/Right rear wheels)
...in general, the OE LSD works fine, but when autoXing, I tend to get much more inner-wheel spin around corners than I would like...I've looked at upgrading to an aftermarket unit, but don't think I can afford it for this coming year.
any thoughts? (would running a heavier weight oil help? What about differences between brands?)
thanks,
Peter

Viscous LSD assemblies are sealed and not exposed to the diff lube except on the outside for cooling heating.
VSLD wear out from overheats so temperature control is often a good idea to prolong their life under abuse conditions.
