Default What is "Rev up" ??

I'm a new Z owner and have noticed references to "Rev up" and "Non-Rev up" cars.

What does this mean.......????

-and-

If a car is "Non-rev up", can it be modified to a "Rev up"??? How??

Please advise..........(and thanks!)

Hey.....lighten up a little guys....

I would like to know the answer....

If you don't know, no need to reply

If you don't want to share the info, no need to reply

If "Bugs" thinks he's got it right, maybe he would benefit as much as me from hearing from anyone who understands the question.

and no the non revup cannot be modified into a revup as the latter has a VVT system, higher max power but slightly less max torque. specs are available on the nissan sites

Revup: Redline 7000, HP 300, less peak torque than non-revup

Non-revup: Redline 6600, HP 287, more peak torque than revup.
