I just dropped mine at the dealership today. Shifter is just floating around in the boot, and the trans is stuck in first gear. I am thinking the linkage broke on mine though. I didn't even bother to take it apart to look at it in fear of the dealership trying to screw me out of the warranty for tinkering with it.

I havn't been on the board for a long time so I was on here checking to see if it's been an issue with anyone else.

The shaft is pressed into the shifter. It most likely just came off. We had that happen in our shop one time. Simply remove the entire assembly, and press the shaft back in.

Mine turned out to just be a missing bolt on the linkage.
