I actually heard about this before but I was sure of it, now I think it is confirmed. My friend drives an S2000 and he told that at night this black Z pulled up to him and started reving his engine, at first he didnt think anything from it because he jsut wanted to race him. Then what really caught my attention was when he said the Z reved the engine and it was like zmmmmmm......psh!!! All you guys should be familiar with what that sound conveys. But anyways I was surprised and curious, but wasn't sure if it was true because I knew none of the turbo kits are out yet. But anyways this happend around th 60 freeway near LA which matches Heats story.
I seriouslly have no problem believing the story seeing as anyone who knows what they're doing could find a used turbo and set it up fairly easily.
But on another note, is anyone else worried about that whole forced induction on a 10.3:1 engine? Some people on here are running some pretty high shots of nitrous for that kind of ratio, so maybe it isn't. Just my humble opinion.

Absolutely possible that somebody out there is running a custom twin turbo. Unlikely that it is a Nismo setup though.
It'd be interesting to get him on this board and find the real low down.

Well a custom bolt on from Japan isn't possible, unless was made for USA spec car. The USA Spec cars are left hand drive. JDM cars are Right hand. That means the exhaust manifolds are different. All the companies that come up with Turbo kit from Japan will have to have new exhaust manifolds made to work on USA spec car. The rack and pinion is what makes manifolds different. So I don't think it is a bolt on kit more like a cutom built USA spec kit.
