Default ACT or RPS

Sup guys. Havin a bit of clutch problems. My stock clutch is gettin a bit stiff only when I'm stuck in traffic or when I'm using the clutch to much. Sometimes when I'm revvin passed 3-4000 the clutch pedal won't go down until the revv goes back down to 2500 or 2000. When I step on the clutch in 1st gear it would sound like air is comin out. I'm guessin I need a new clutch since I hit 53k or something. well I do have turbo so that could be it too. I'm deciding on ACT street or RPS max. anyone know how much TQ ACT can hold ? The RPS comes with only the combo clutch / flywheel. I was wondering if I really need the flywheel ? Cuz my car revvs up pretty fast with the turbo. So if I get a flywheel it would revv up even faster. I probably wouldn't grip 1st 2nd or 3rd. But I wouldn't know cuz I don't have it. So ppl with F/I with clutch / flywheel combo can you help me me decide. Is it worth buyin the flywheel ? Dnx guys !

I dunno if all that sounds like a clutch issue. I would go ahead and get a flywheel along with your clutch. Its another $400-450 and you don't have to pay labor twice. Plus, you're boostin. I went with the JWT flywheel b/c it has bolt patterns for both the Z33 and Z32 TT clutch. The Z32 TT clutches hold a bit more power than the Z33 clutches. Having said that, I opt'd for the ACT clutch (Z32 TT). I have always bought ACT products and they have yet to let me down.

i have the rps setup and love it...if you end up getting rps you can interswitch their clutch for a twin turbo 300z clutch setup

I have more than looked into the JWT clutch and flywheel and own the latter. That being said I can't stand this flywheel in comparison to other I have driven. I have the ACT street disc and Stage 1 pressure plate and couldn't be more happy with it. I would get the ACT Prolite flywheel though if I was you... I've driven a bunch of setups back to back and my favorite to date is ACT clutch (Street disc Stage 1 PP) and ACT Prolite flywheel...

you need to first bleed your fluid and refill, and maybe look (or have the dealer look) at the adjustment on the pedal

what you described are not the symptoms of a blown clutch
