Default Nitrous and Procharger

Well I didnt know if I should put this under Forced Induction or Nitrous so let me know if I should move it. Anyways I wanted to know if anyone has had any expirience with putting a 50 shot of nitrous on an ATI Procharger. I have a built motor and am only running 15psi. Would it be safe? Any ideas or recomendations would be appriciated.

Thanks

My mechanic (big time drag racer) said it would be a huge help. I would just need to tune 4 it... IDK has anyone done a small shot and a supercharged or turbo car?

I was curious about the same thing with the Vortech. I want to do this when I build my motor in February.

Sorry, but that it just an ignorant statement. When run properly, it will be as safe as any other mod.

But, your statement is ignorant. Just a little bit of research proves the contrary to what you wrote.

Good topic, I have been wondering the same too. If any of the pros(Sharif, Sam, etc...) can chime in with some info on this setup that would be great. Shot amount?, what gears to run in?, best setup(wet vs. dry, throttle switch or button?) with a blower, Vortech or ATI...

Bump!!

tuning becomes a major issue when combining boost with spray. A safer route would be to spray the aftercooler, but a 50 shot will do wonders when sprayed into the motor on a SC'd car. 2 step colder plugs is a must....platinum is a big no no with nitrous, so if you don't already have iridium, get em. What type of management do you have? If you are running UTEC, I'd make a separate map with more timing pulled when you know you're gonna spray. As long as you're built, you shouldn't run into any problems if everything I mentioned is in place. Good luck...nitrous is fun!
