Well i was on my way to a car meet tonight .....
and on the way there raced an Audi A4 on I-40 and everything seemed fine.

Well on the way to a gas station to get drinks .. my 5th gear started scratching.
So i went back to the meet stayed there. Got on I-40 to get back home and 5th gear is scratching every time i try to shift fast. If i do it slowly it does not scratch but if i try to shift it quickly it will scratch every time.

I need help to solve this problem or know what the hell is going on?
If anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.

 

please .... anyone ... im like worried crazy ... can you tell me what i should do ... or .. do you guys know whats wrong with it.

 

mine does that same ****. My z's full of problems like that. I have learned i just have to live with them.

 

minbe does that when in third. only when i shift fast. it turned out i was shifting fast and sliping into third too fast before pushing down on clutch all the way. this is my first stick car. im not great at it yet, but im geting there .

 

i've owned other stick cars....
but never like 350z .. tranny is very different ... but i guess i will be going to the dealer to get it checked out before warranty runs out lol

 

that's what i thought when i had my first z but the synchros were all sorts of crazy so i got a new tranny! at least let nissan take a look at it!
