Default NA mods

How much whp may be achieved with only NA mods? (exhaust, headers, chip, intake,...) And which mods will I see the most power from?

Are you a firefighter?

Back on topic, get the chip from E-bay, it produces the most HP by far!

wow, all the bashing of new people for asking this same 100 000 dollar question yet people still seem to ask it, i realize its your first post but just look around a bit before you ask, you will see TONS of people getting flamed on here for this same exact question....

just look around a bit more and use the search button up top, then come back when you want to know which bearings you will need for your new titanium rods for your 18 to 1 compression NA monster you are building and we will help you....

if you do tons of NA mods and get a tune, you might be able to hit 300 whp.
(headers, plenum, cames, TP, exhaust, tune...)

I don't have a tune yet but i only made 254whp with my mods. There were a couple stock z's putting down low 240s. I'm depressed b/c of that. I'm just going to spray the crap out of it. My spark plugs are probably 30k miles old, the air filter is dirty and i have huge wheels. But i doubt it makes that much of a diff.

Its just a number man. I made 247/238 on my Z with i/h/e/tp/spacer/UTEC/flywheel.

All dynos read different....my dyno, especially low....but who cares...as long as you know you gained power...don't worry about it.

I was just sad b/c i have some significant mods and only gained about 10/15whp over the litterally stock z's that were there. I'm going to spend more money on making the car lighter...at least i will definately see gains there.

Well, if it makes you feel any better I put down 366whp/438wtq when I spray 150 shot. Just get a UTEC to tune it with nitrous and you'll be in the 11s. Much cheaper than a Z06. lol

What kind of kit is that with?

I was just talking about this a couple days ago with another member at the dyno day. Someone said that a 100 would make about 100 at the wheels, i replied that normally it should. That is how the ls1 cars (that i know better) handle it, but that i have noticed that z's don't follow the same "rules" and lose about 30% or so.

I made 265 rwhp on a Dynojet, and I believe stock my car would dyno around 230 or so. 35 rwhp seems like a pretty significant gain, IMO.
