so just so i am not losing it you used 5 grounding wires? my Z seems to have a short and i am going to change out my grounds and see if i can resolve this problem. I work at lowes so I should be well under 40 when i purchase all the required equipment.

Sometimes more grounds are a bad thing depending on placement. I've heard from a few electrical engineers that grounds are spaced out to allow some signal noise to be dissipated into the chassis. Why is it you mostly see on OEM setups the Battery ground point not directly connected to any of the engine grounds? Have you ever seen a daily chain setup coming from the factory?
Clean up the stock ones or replace them with non-oxygenated cable.
I am having a faulty ground somewhere, not sure if it is in the ECU or some where on the motor. is this worth doing? or should i look into replacing my ECU and spend a couple hundred?

Invest in an m6x1.0 tap. Go through all existing grounds and re-tap them and use Stainless steel alan head bolts. Or sand the surface of the chassis down to bare metal. Sand down any corrosion on the contact points.
The best setup is an upgraded stock one. Some of these sensors are extremely sensitive. If an additional $2 ground wire would provide benefit on an OBD2 performance car riddled with electronics, Nissan would've added it.

I will dispute you on that staement. Just because a manufacterer does not add something does not mean it is not beneficial. There are a lot of automated processes involved in car assembly. In most cases adding something may require additional modification to the process which they are not willing to do. What I mean is that it is not just the cost of the wire.
Also if what you are saying holds then all we need is just buy the car and drive it as is. Really?
Got a diagram of the oem ground locations?? I am gunna sift around the engine bay and try to replace and clean the ground contact points. Because I had a weird problem when I turned on my Highbeams all my dash lights came on briefly and the car had a slight hesitation as if it were about to stall but then it corrected itself my car is a 6-speed Manuel btw. So I believe I defiantly have some sort of electrical problem.
