Default Had some fun yesterday :)

Yesterday I went up to central Jersey to meet up with Jay (j's350z) and his buddies to help me install the grounding kit and Injen CAI. Thanks again guys! I can definitely feel a difference, but maybe that's just because when we took off the stock filter, there were about 6 leaves jammed inside. Now the car feels a lot better, and power over 3000 is a lot more apparent. I have some pictures. It's raining out today, so don't mind the rain all over the place.

Hey, I didn't know you had the JDM front finisher! Looks tough! On a separate note, maybe I/we ought to clean out the filter once a month or so. I don't think wet leaves do much for the top end, and don't you just love the sleet?

Thanks - I like the front air dam finisher...I got it from Skidazzle - thanks Michael! Definitely clean out the filter once a month, the leaves aren't much of a power-adder. Oh yes, the sleet is so much fun... Are you coming down to Cape May??

GRRRRRRRRR! You know I'm probably going to trade it in in a year or so, hey, I'd rather have an auto z than no z at all.

Oh, and who borrowed the double sided tape for their gauges??? LOL!!!!

Monte Cristos - eek, no thanks. My body would hate me for that. And it's not "our" birthdays, it's "my" birthday Shall I bring the pregnant Jewish girl for you?

Default Nice looking system

Looks great, just becareful of plowing into high water (8" or more), she'll load up you front grill, the VQ hates water.

A simply process to eliminate bug, leaves and trash is to cut a piece of screen about 10" by 30" and hot glue to the backside of the grill through the hood release opening. Simply to do and may even catch a stone or two, and barely noticable.

VQRacer, I don't think I've seen a post by you in about a hundred posts that didn't say, "Check your PMs" haha. What are these secret PMs about? Can you PM me telling me what these PMs are about. I feel like I'm missing out on a secret society.

A local shop had your Injen in stock? Sweet! Was it easier the second time around? And did you take him out to dinner?

LOL! Spicy Doritos = stinky breath Need a piece of gum? If it rains on Saturday, I'm gonna be pissed. Every time I wash my car it rains, so maybe I'll just come with a dirty *** car like yours

Looks great, Jill! How long did it take you to get the InJen finished? I'm doing mine this weekend and then going straight to the track, so I need to plan my time!

LOL...If *I* would've done it, I would tell you... It took Jay's friends about an hour or so? But he just did his and he said it took them a lot shorter this time. Are you going to be taking off the bumper?

It took Jill about an hour and a half to watch me and my friends install her intake. Atually my friends did the intake and I worked on my car.... I installed mine last night in my friends shop and it took around 2 hours but that was with a pizza break.... Also, I did it without removing the front bumper but I had a lift... Also, the filter itself is suppost to be held up with the stupid plastic clip but I solid mounted mine, Used a special rivet like tool thats inserts a threaded bushing into the hole and uses a 1/4" bolt... works good. You'll see what I mean when you do yours.......
