Need pic of injector housing (diagnose ticking sound)
I am trying to diagnose a ticking sound at idle coming from the driver's side of my engine when it gets hot (Oil Pressure goes below 1/4 of range). I have been told to put a screwdriver up to the injector housing to see if it is the injectors, but I don't know what this looks like. Does anyone have a picture of the injector housing or where i should listen to? I am very open to suggestions.
Thanks,
Jeff

A better device is a technican's mechanical probe stethoscope.
Probably worn shims on bucket lifters unless you have been running ethanolized fuel which tends to wear the injectors a tiny bit faster.

The car only has 3k miles on it. I don't think that anything would be worn, but there could be a defect. I have been running a small % of ethanol. Also, the sound only comes out when it is warmer outside and the engine is hot.
