I know that some 5at's have the TCM inside and some have the TCM outside and the valve bodys are different. Id like to pick up a used trans but want to be sure I get the right one. I have a 06 G Sedan with the TCM inside, right? What years did they change to the TCM inside? Ive heard mid 04? Does any one know for sure? Would I be okay with a 5at from any 05+ Z or G? Thanks!

K, so for sure the 05+ Z, G and the other platforms that use the RE5R05A are swapable?

 

I own a 04.5 G Coupe and mine is inside, didn`t find it in the passenger kick panel when i wanted to connect my Grounding Gear`s TCM Earthing Wire.
