Default Where can i buy underbody braces?

I was getting my Nismo Exhaust put on today, and apparently who ever owned my car before me must have bottomed out pretty hard and caught the cross brace under the car on something. It's the one directly below where the shifter goes up into the car.(Just before the resonator) they got it to clear the exhaust by using a bunce of washers to pull it down a bit from the car, but i wold like to eventually replace it. It's $200.00 for the part. I remember a while back seeing after market braces that go under the car, but i can't remember where i saw them. Any suggestions?? Thanks!

I just went there and didn't see either of those. I'm assuming i should be looking under the suspension catagory?

Be aware, though, that these braces were't designed to replace the stock "M" brace; they provide supplemental chassis rigidity in other areas. They also protrude further from the bottom of the car, and will scrape even easier.

yeah you kinda gotta make the choice, lower the car more, or run a higher ride height with the braces

That sux. The factory one doesn't look like it does much, but i'm sure it;s there for a reason.

are you lowered? I am only down on Tein S techs and I have to take the Ladder bar off due to scraping. Just want people to know that even a slight drop + the ladder bad = scrape.

I am running both the bars in the rear though with no problem.

Once I get my new coil over set up and raise the car up a little more, I will put the GT Spec and Tanabe ladder supports on.

the GT spec ladder and tanabe brace seem to make a big difference, but so does running the car lower...which you really can't do both

So out of this i'm getting that since it's my "M" brace that's bent, i can't compensate with an aftermarket brace. Correct??

GT-Spec is good stuff. I am putting it on mine now. Just keep in mind it will reduce your clearence by an inch.. I think it is more beneficial to handling then lowering the car (with the correct suspension of course).

This is the brace near the shifter. There is another part that holds the OEM catalytic converters in place. I discarded that part a long time ago.

I'm at work so it wont show me the pic you put up But it's not the brace for the cats, its the "m" looking one from left to right under the car pretty much half way down the underside.

I would love to know what you're basing this statement on. The fact that the Tanabe hangs a full inch (at least) lower then it needs to when the GT spec scrapes as it is?

i really don't think I'd say one is better than the other

I have both and think the GT spec brace's location does more to stiffen up the chasis than the tanabe brace. I actually didn't notice much difference with the tanabe added that the GT spec wasn't already doing
