Exclamation air/fuel help?

Does anyone know how to install a air/fuel gauge? What is required to get it to work? it has 5 wire on the back 2 red, 2 black and 1 green,... were do wire the green one. do i conected to the o2 sensor or ECU .. to many wires in the o2 . ? any ideas

ground, power, switch...those are what the wires are for.

dunno where each wire conects to but i do know that u connect to the o2 not ecu

i know that the 2 red and 2 black connect to power and ground.. but what about the green.. i know it goes in the o2 sensor .. but what wire .. the o2 sensor has 4 wires... it has a black, gray, and 2 whites! what wire should i conected to ?

Gray. The two whites are the heater wires and the black is a ground. Gray is the signal you want.

I think he's talking about the POS Autometer gauge that doesn't do anything but have fancy flashing lights.

ok guys.. i connected already. its a autometer gauge. i connect to the gray wire, but it only flash on lean. whats wrong with this ****! it won't go to rich or stoich...any more ideas?

It's cause you won't get any useful information from that gauge. It's good as a light show only. Buy a wideband.

alternatively, you can just get a cipher tool from AAM... I love mine and as long as you're N/A it's great for reading the factory widebands.

(make sure you have 2004.5 or newer car)

Well, if you just want a gauge, get the PLX Devices PLX52BLK gauge. It can read a wideband signal and is much, much cheaper than the AEM standalone gauge. However, they have been discontinued. So, they are getting harder to find.

I have mine wired to my UTEC and tuner and it works great.
