I have a 2004 5AT and I am going to have Sharif modify it. To save the downtime, I am looking at a used 2005 valve body that a member here has for sale. Was there any differences between the model years? Thanks!

Yes. The 2005 valve body is designed for TCM integration.

 

Does that mean it won't work on a 04 though?

 

2004.5 and up have a different VB than the earlier 03's - 04.5's. You can have the dealership run your vin # and tell you which you have. Only other way to tell is by looking @ it.

 

We have the 2004.5, so the 2004.5 and the 05 should be the same?

Should be. Go to the dealership and run your vin # and then run the vin # of the car its coming from. If the same part # comes up your good. BTW, you should just take it out on a Thur. and next day air it get it there on Fri. They do them on Sat. and if they ship it out on Sat you get it back on Mon.

 

is the HP handling capacity of the 05 any better?
