Default oem clutch life

I'm at 50k and I'm pretty sure this is the original clutch (bought used). What signs of wear are there when I'm driving. I don't drive too hard besides the occasional heel-toe ninja shifts...

I really want a JWT clutch flywheel anyways, but if this clutch still good, I can't really justify it...

120-150K miles, than you get "slipping" the engine will rev higher with no speed increase.

If you learned how to drive on the particular clutch...you may shorten the life a bit..

clutches are wear items, so they last for as long as your drriving style will permit them to.

The friction point is def. touchy/inconsistant. I bought the car at 48k miles or something, so the thing could have been abused before I bought it...

50,000 is a pretty good life span for a Z clutch ---Its one of those things that u can consider to be preventative Maintenance about now. Its going to have to be done soon, so price units and preferances and do it at ur soonest convenience rather that having to rush it when the inevitable happens.

A worn clutch will of course begin to slip but mainly u will be able to smell it every so often when u tax it a little

+1 i would say it really depends on the drivers. whenever you feel the "slip", then it's about time to change it.
