Nice numbers, do you know at what RPM it made peak horsepower at? How many miles on the motor?

You're actually right on that.
I got confused and was referring to pre 07 models, which is about 19%.

5th gear pull would have likely netted you a few more whp, on that Dyno jet Great numbers, either way.

how so? i would think that i'd get less power in 5th because its a longer gear.

*dyno sheet added

hmm... didn't know that, it was my first time dynoing a car, so all of my knowledge of dynos prior to this was interweb knowledge (its not all that greater now)

whats the norm? what gear do most people dyno there car in? i was doing this to compare to previous year numbers, not to get a high number, cause as we all know, the one and only true dyno is the track

For ***'s sake, please don't compare numbers from different types of dynos...

LET ALONE different dynos of the same type which could be calibrated differently...

concerned that the 07's would be faster, I googled.
http://www.caranddriver.com/features...ssan-350z.html
so the 07's aren't actually faster with the extra power though they're close in weight? +/- 40lbs -whatever it is.

wow this is getting confusing a guy ran 13.64 stock and car and driver says 14.2 that is a pretty big difference in time in the 1/4.

i guess car and driver drives the car 3 times down the track and then posts their best time. Doesn't car and driver supposedly have professional drivers driving these cars down the 1/4 mile. Im starting to think they got the professional drivers off of forza shootout to drive these cars. Ive seen ppl that can't be called a professional and drive better times i just dont understand so many inconsistences.
