it worked wonders on my other cars. i haven't done it on the z yet though.

You can run it through your vacuum line(car will smoke soooo bad) but then it will feel so much better. It cleans up nicely.

You can run it in your gas tank just like other gas additives which says to clean your injectors.

you can run it in your oil. I would only put it in the oil cap fill, let it run for 5-10 minutes then change your oil right after.

its a fully petroleum (SP?) based products that a lot of people use. a lot of motorsports down here swears by the stuff. The only reason i haven't tried it in the z because it the our owners manual, it says it doesn't reccomend doing things like that and i love my car too much right now.

I used it in my DSM and I thought it worked great, haven't thought about using in in the Z.

I know people that have used it on old cars (> 100K miles) and I have used it too. We've used it on sludged up engines to try and clean out the oiled parts.

I can't imagine needing it on a relatively new car like the Z. If you keep your oil replaced at 3-4K miles as recommended, you should be fine and never need it.

BTW - the PCV valve is located on the valve cover near the front of the passenger side.

Look up the Materials Safety sheet and this will tell you the common ingredents of Sea Foam: pale oil, naptha, and isopropyl alcohol

99.999% of chemicals are hazardous so hard to hide secret ingredents. Even table salt must be listed.

Exactly, why use it for a newer car? I've used it on my Blazer, and it worked great to clean out the EGR and intake, but I can't imagine using it on anything with less than 100k miles. If you do use it through the PCV, which is what I did, you'll want to replace the spark plugs afterwards.

i used it on my '85 volvo (with 200k miles) and it identified a nice exhaust manifold leak with all the smoke -- LOL

I've heard good things about it on older cars but on a z especially one with under 100k on it I can't imagine it being needed.

Mostly I've heard about it on fox body mustangs and the venerable ka24de and sr20.
