Thumbs up Ordered up some HP.

Dropped some cash and ordered my headers from Doug on Monday. Should be ready in 3-4 weeks. I opted for the Jet-Hot coated mild steel. I am so excited! I had another taste of what I am missing monday when I was walked by Doug at high speeds like he had a V8. I hope the first set of production will make more power than his originals. 300 N/A HP here i come!!!!

Is that 300 hp at the flywheel or wheel power?

Also, what exactly do the headers do to increase HP?

Sounds sick... you'll find yourself revving at everything light!

While not aftermarket exhaust loud... CERTAINLY a different sound.

Hey guys. I have a g35 coupe, but I hang out here b/c there is more information about aftermarket parts. Do you guys think that the headers will work in the g35? They both share the same engine right?

Will these still work if one decides to put some type of forced induction kit on later?

Simple misunderstanding...

I'm sure he was thinking turbo...

For supercharging they should work fine...

They will work real well with super charging. You will definitely need a free flow exhaust sys because you will be ramming more air in.

I'm assuming Doug is another Z owner with aftermarket headers? If so, what other mods does he have?

headers+full exhaust+intake+weight loss...hmmm

How much is the cost of the headers? Installation? Are you going to dyno before and after?

I don't know if he wants to release pricing. Call him if you're serious about buying them. All I'll say is they're A LOT less than anything else available anywhere. Figure about 4-6 hours for installation. I don't intend to do a before/after dyno. I trust the results they got.

Go to www.350zmotoring.com . I believe there's a sticky thread in the performance forum. Or you can do a search here for Doug Z header Dyno.
