Default 350z vs g35 plenum cover

hey guys....i have an 03 Z and i was wondering if i can replace the Z plenum cover with the g35 cover without affecting the strut back? i know i will have to remove it to put in the g35 but i was wondering if i will be able to put it back on and will it fit? stupid question but just curious.

Do you mean the upper plenum, the metal part, or do you mean the plastic engine cover?

I'm not sure....I've never tried to put a G one on my Z. I took my Z one off and I'll never put it back on unless I ever sell the car. Those things look nice, but they help keep heat in the engine. I no likey heat.
