Default How does your clutch feel?

When I first got my car, the clutch ffelt really good. It was crisp and the engagement point felt precise and it was kinda hard to drive smoothly. But It felt good.

Today at 18xx miles, the clutch feels totally different. Its not crisp anymore. I can barely feel the engagement point anymore. And it seems to engage later in the clutch travel. Is this normal for after break-in or is there something wrong? I did not burn or do anything bad to the clutch...

what you're describing does sound like normal break-in. the clutch wears in and and the engagement feel and position change. If the engagement point is excessively high and/or the clutch is slipping, then I would bring it in to be looked at

I can sum up how my clutch feels in one word: crappy!!! It engages really really high, squeaks, shudders durring engagment, and just feels really crappy. No slipping or anything though.

My clutch is thoroughly f*cked at almost 34K miles, slips when it gets hot, high engagement point, shudders, etc. I intend to completely destroy it after I get TN St kit on

Sounds like fun, I wish I had some extra cash for a act clutch or something right now, so I could send this one to hell with some massive burnouts or something.

When I first got the car the clutch felt hard (original '04 clutch with 22k miles on it)..

Had a few problems with the transmition and they ended up replacing the clutch & transmition ('06 specs).. Now it's very soft, almost softer then my scion tc.

Clutch still feels very crappy.. Engagement is very sloppy, it studders when taking off in 1st. Doesn't seem to be slipping at all but everything else about it sucks.
