07 z break in
how come they say to break in your motor? is it bad for my car if ive been driving it hard especially redlining it. i have chirped the tires in second and have raced and peeled out in the car and down shifted a couple of times

that sounds like what I did yesterday when I test drove the 07 manual Z (orange) i was red lining the **** out of it, sliding on turns (with only 32 miles) i just wanted to test it . I know the Manager at that dealer =). anyways since I squeeze al "306" hp I didn't think it was that fast . It sounds nice ONLY AT A HIGH RPM. but when shiftin, it has kind of a lag... My 03' feels quicker. People were looking at me like I was driving a lambo since it was that weird orange

Story over exaggerated, Yes. Lag when shifting, No. Your 03 with intake faster, No. Maybe you should take the expert driver out of your sig

CAI on your '03 would make it "feel" faster with the sound alone. Any car that ever has a cai always feels faster than before.
