Default NUB question

has anyone put larger injectors in a naturally aspirated Z with intake/exhaust mods then tuned it and seen results worth the money? or am i really really stupid?

I doubt that larger injectors would make much of a difference. Most if not all NA Zs run rich at full throttle, so getting enough fuel is not a problem.

I've know of a few guys with NA Zs with intake/exhaust mods who have gotten the UTEC and had their cars tuned, mainly to lean them out a bit. I've thought about doing it myself as my A/F is in the 11-12 range at WOT.

in a NA car, i thought maximum power is frequently reached at AFRs ranging from 12.5 - 13.3:1. I know that richer mixtures can result in lower power due to slower burn speeds and see why a tune is needed to get the proper mixture, or raise your current one to meet the maximum horsepower
