That's very good numbers...I'm glad I didn't buy a 06..It would have been slower and burnt oil...Can't wait to start modding

I am going to be painting my car in a few weeks. The motor and transmission are coming out at Forged. They will have a least two months with the motor while the body work is getting done.

Those are very impressive numbers. For the sake of comparison, my revup with ful bolt-ons and utec put down only 246 on Sharif's dyno a few weeks ago.

Hey Sharif,
Does that engine run the same twin throttle body set up as the 07 G35 sedan??

You can't compare those numbers. They used different SAE standards. The new Z with the old standards would probably hit 315hp or so at the crank.

Yes it does.

Another interesting note, since we have the the car on the lift today. There are quite a few interesting changes on the underside, that I will document a little bit later.

But contrary to the speculation, this car does not have a true dual exhaust from the factory. The exhaust is virtually identical to the 03-06 models.

Body work is under wraps at the moment; however we are doing a wide body.

General update: We added exhuast and are currently working on the test pipes. Sharif will update later.

I'd rather wait and see what we can use from the VQ37hr but this is pomising numbers.

We are about to find out. Just install the Greddy EvoTT (future plans for FI), and some test pipes. The results are very interesting with the exhaust, and we are about to dyno with the test pipes+exhaust.
