defective crank position sensor=car dies in the middle of freeway

Default defective crank position sensor=car dies in the middle of freeway

has anyone else experienced this? while i was driving on the freeway..the rpm starts going all crazy...then all of a suddent the car dies....
the car was towed to the dealer n it was determined that it was a defective crank position sensor...maybe there is a TSB out on this? just a heads up...

Better than a TSB - there was a recall on a bunch of Nissan cars a year or two back for the defective crank angle sensor. Old news since it affected the 2003 model only...

That doesn't mean that the sensor can't go bad on any other model year Z.
