Default Vibration on clutch pedal with wipers on

I noticed a vibration on the clutch pedal when the wipers are on. Is this common?

2003 6speed touring

Just the 2003. Nissan disconnected the clutch from the wipers beginning in 2004.

i heard it gives more hp to the wiper if its connected to the clutch and you can have it go faster based on what gear you are in

Had the same thing on my 2003. Felt really weird when I first noticed it. I wondered how the two things could be connected, lol. Don't worry about it .

That's odd. I'll have to try it!

My 05 does this. Not really a vibration like something is rattling, but you can feel it in the clutch on mine. I always wondered what it was. Hmmm?

As long as it isn't a serious problem. Thanks for the input

I've felt it as well. My guess is that the wiper motor is connected to the firewall, which is pretty thin metal in places. I think there is sufficient torque from the wiper motor on the firewall, which your clutch pedal is also connected to, that you could notice it.

I mostly notice it when it reaches the end of the cycle (i.e. the wipers are all the way up)...

mine does this also. Everytime the wipers hit the end of the track where they recall back over the windsheild it feels like there is a wiper blade on my clutch too. I dont think it hurts anything, but definatly there.

Revived from the dead!! See what happens when you use the search feature...

Same vibration on my 2004 Touring.

I thought there might have been a TSB or something. Apparently not.
