Default 07 Stock Dyno Numbers

Probably in the wrong section, but as promised. 2007 HR Z Stock dyno numbers.

Dyno performed in Houston, TX on a Dynojet. Best pull out of 3 was in 5th gear with 261whp/235tq. We could have pushed it a bit more as the speed limiter hit before we even redlined in 5th.

4th gear yielded similiar results when pushed...All in all a great baseline run..

Now I'm going to re-dyno this next weekend with the crawford cats + nismo exhaust on .. and see what sort of gain/etc we will see... That's it for power right now as the 07 is very limited, however we will be doing a dual intake system as soon as one becomes available or as soon as I start fabricating something

Enjoy...

It did for me... I think it cutoff at 160mph but we still had another 700-900 till redline cut.. i think that was the number.. then again how often are you going to go 160mph... I just wanted a baseline

160mph in 5th gear is just sick...

Although its a pointless speed imo, just wonder why Nissan didn't mess with the FD gear.

That's a really good question... imagine given the space/etc what it could do in 6th after 5th tops out :P

You will see it soon.. Here's what I have planned:

Nismo Exhaust
Crawford Hi flow cats
Dual cold air intake or pop chargers (either fabricated or released by Intense power/jwt/aem)
Crank pulley

I negated the headers as the price per HP is a waste with the 07 headers that already come stock.

I may look into some engine management and such, but I still need to do some homework on it.. But thanks

Not bad, I love how the HP doesnt drop after 6200rpm's, must feel nice. Id run a 3.9FD with a 7500rpm redline, Id imagine those gears feel way long, espcially 4th and up.

Thats what I'm thinking man... if he's hitting the speed limiter in 5th gear

I bet a 3.9FD would be nice on the HRs.

Yup the power just keeps on going.. tq drops a bit but that's obvious....yeah i'm definitely looking into the FD/LSD for this thing.. along with a JWT Fly/Clutch combo when i can afford it (later this spring most likely).. just have to find someone local who can do the installs :P I can do everything but tranny/diff i suck at it

You can do it! Im not too sure what you mean by being able to do everything else, but if you take your time, and do some searching, changing the clutch is not all that hard in itself. Time consuming and laborous, YES, hard, not really!

There is a crank pulley available for the 07??

I plan on:

1. test pipes
2. nismo or greddy exhaust
3. crank pulley (if avail)
4. pop chargers -if they actually add more power (independant dyno)
4. JWT cams (when they become avail)
6. UTEC (when it becomes avail)

I will easily b over 300rwhp on a dynojet...and should be running 12's easy at the track. I can't wait!

Plus I'm going for suspensions mods: 1. Tein Springs, 2. Nismo Sways 3. GTSpec Front/Rear tie braces
