listen buddy it might not be that... my clutch slave cylinder was leaking... you might wanna have your dealer check it out. I was going to replace my clutch/flywheel. now it feels like a new car. everything replaced under warranty.

I have a 2006 and I don't think the clutch has ever stuck, but I do notice almost every time it rains that the pedal feels kind of 'gummy' when I take my foot off of it, like it doesn't want to spring out with as much force as usual. So what happens is I end up over-revving a bit because the clutch seems to take longer to engage, but then it engages and I keep going. I haven't had any clutch burning issues, at least not that I could smell.

I had this problem back in April 2007. Clutch stuck to the floor in the middle of driving normally. It took the dealer 2 months to find out what was wrong with it and fix it. I still don't know what they replaced though, but it was done under warranty. Haven't had a problem since, but I haven't even driven my car sincethen either =/

I have a stock 05 32K that has this issue. Got it last summer and it stuck a couple times when launching. Had the dealer flush and check it. Seemed OK.
Brought the car out for the fisrt time this year, went about 10mph for 1/4 mile to my lane, stopped then tried to launch. Pedal came up about 3/4" and engine revved, clutch smelled realll bad. Temp was 38 deg, car temp was still pegged on cold. Can't see this being a boiling issue. Is it my master cylinder ? Clutch is fine everywhere else. I'm not sure what to try.

I would have the dealer check the master cylinder. If it's not that then just get a SS clutch line with High temp fluid and you won't have this issue anymore. I have been launching my car extremely hard since I got the clutch line with high temp fluid and my clutch has not stuck to the floor at all.

...heh...that's exactly why I got me one with an auto tranny! If you check out these threads SYSTEMATICALLY, you'll notice LOTSA peeves regarding MTs on our beasts. ON THE OTHER HAND, ATs ain't got EVEN ONE complaint!!!
That should be a tell-tale sign, guys!

Smart old-timer from the AST zone!

we get it...you like your auto tranny. why do you feel the need to try to justify that the AT is better than an MT?

hmm... my clutch stuck and yeah wouldnt pop out. but there was no bad burning clutch smell.. fluid was good... have had several suggustions on it being the slave cylinder and i know the clutch is going out too you could hear it. so after speed shifting ohh about 40 miles. she's now sitting in the shop. we're trying to figure out if it is the slave cylinder or what. anyone have a clue?

Mine has started doing this. I've ordered a steel shielded clutch line and am going to flush it out with some Motul. I expect it to fix the issue.

Mines sticks too but after real hard runs. My clutch is weak right now.
