Unhappy Help.oil fouled.

Hey guys i just decided to change out my spark plugs because my car has not felt so powerful as it used to. All of the plugs are oil fouled, and I can see oil residue coming from under the intake manifold, any information would be great, help!

I just changed it recently 5 quarts. I can never tell with the stupid dip stick we have, it always picks oil off of the dipstick tube

did you put the plugs back in? I think checking to see how fast they foul will give you an idea of how bad it is....but you must get a compression test.

Well I don't believe I overserviced it, though I do drive spirited sometimes. I guess I will just change the plugs and check them next weekend, appreciate the help though really, thanks.

Can you do a compression check yourself or do you have to take it to a shop to do it?

How easy is it to do and what is needed or have to be disconnected from the engine for the tester to work?

you can do it, the tester replaces a spark plug (one at a time). you dissconnect the spark for the engine. just using the starter motor to turn the engine over will give you the reading.

Could be tube seals are leaking too. I had a few plugs with some oil on them.
