More problems with my TT car.
My car has a TT and built block running under the HKS Fcon. Lately the car has been smelling like too much fuel is being pushed through it. At idle a little bit of smoke puffs out and the smell is very very strong. It has been especially noticeable after I changed my battery oddly enough. And the way the car drives lately has been very poor.
I disconnected the battery overnight and that helped it some and is now somewhat drivable condition. And I also changed the plugs and saw they were pretty fouled.
I'm worried that the car will just foul these plugs out so I haven't been driving it. The Fcon doesn't have a MAF sensor correct?
Any reason the Fcon would be the culprit? I'm not too familiar with the Fcon since I purchased the car a while back how it is now. Any sensors it runs that I should check?

do you have a/f gauge to monitor?
with the fcon there is nothing you can really do but take it to a tuner. It's not adjustable by end users.
It shouldn't lose it's tune by removing the battery so idk. You can do a search for throttle body reset and see if that helps but it doesn't sound like that is going to fix this issue.

no, if that is integrated to into the fcon (most tuners don't though) all it will do is pull timing if it's knocking. It will never add fuel. So the knock amp doesn't have anything to do with the over fueling issue.

In any case i think most tuners use map tuning and not maf tuning on the fcon so a dirty maf shouldn't be affecting you that much if any. The maf is just there to keep codes from freaking out and the temp sensor and the map sensor is used for tuning.
check to see if the map sensor has failed. we have had three fcon unit's map sensor fail on us before. also check your knock amp and make sure the afr's are reading correctly. if not you might have to recalibrate the sensor or just replace the sensor
